Scarborough
Annual Technical Theater/Drama Scholarship
Each year, Enloe Theatre awards the Scarborough Scholarship to deserving Theatre students. Named after beloved Enloe Theatre teacher of over 30 years, Sue Scarborough, this scholarship honors students who make great contributions to Enloe Theatre during their tenure at Enloe High School and plan to continue their theatre studies in college by majoring in a theatre-related field. These students understand what playwright Oscar Wilde once said, that theatre is "the greatest of all art forms - the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being." Former recipients of this scholarship are currently sharing their talents with humanity as professional actors, designers, directors, technical directors, and playwrights. Help us help this year's graduating seniors achieve their dreams of joining a group of amazing professional artists and sharing their voices with the world.
